Tereos Starch & Sweeteners is the starch division of Tereos, a cooperative agro-industrial group specialised in the primary processing of sugar beet, sugar cane, grains and tubers into a full range of sugars, starch derivatives, alcohols, bioethanol and co-products.

Tereos Starch & Sweeteners processes maize, wheat, potato and cassava to manufacture a wide range of value added products in compliance with the current and future requirements of the food, pharmaceutical, green chemistry, animal nutrition, paper and corrugated board industries.

Tereos Starch & Sweeteners is committed to developing a sustainable economy, using renewable raw materials mainly grown close to the plants and providing bio-based products as alternatives to fossil-fuel counterparts.

Grain Collector Associates of Tereos Starch & Sweeteners represent more than 15 million tons of collected grain, which is 25% of the grain produced in France. Tereos Starch & Sweeteners also processes 25% of the French potato starch quotum.
The company has built privileged and long-term relationships with cereal and starch potato producers to ensure the quality of its raw materials and secure its supplies.
