Tereos Syral becomes Tereos Starch & Sweeteners.

2014

Acquisition of a maize starch plant in Indonesia with the FKS group.

2013

Acquisition of a maize starch plant in Tieling (China) with Wilmar
Start-up of maize starch plant in Palmital (Brazil).

2012

Start-up of distillery in Selby (UK) - Construction of maize starch plant in Palmital (Brazil)
and wheat starch plant in Dongguan (China) with Wilmar.

2011

Syral, cereal division of Tereos, becomes Tereos Syral and develops its activities in Europe and Brazil
with cassava and potato starches.

2010

Syral rolls out its European industrial processes and strengthens its positions on alcohols and specialities.

2007

Syral acquires 5 plants across Europe and becomes Europe’s third largest starch and glucose producer.

2003

Expansion of food glucose and polyols operations.

2001

Expansion of Syral’s product range and construction of a wheat starch plant in Marckolsheim.

1996

Tereos creates Syral: glucose syrups production start-up for the food industry in Marckolsheim (France).
