This policy helps support mobility within the cereal division and its various sites but also within the Tereos Group. Tereos Starch & Sweeteners offers its employees opportunities for both functional and hierarchical evolution both inside and outside of Europe. Various types of trainings are provided to employees of every level to enable them to do their jobs successfully and progress in their careers. The company ensures that its collaborators are provided the opportunity to reach their fullest potential through the right level of authority, responsibility and skills set. Training, both on-the-job and theoretically along with job rotations and overseas assignments form the work-and-learn experience at Tereos Starch & Sweeteners.

All manufacturing sites continuously recruit people to participate in internships and work-study internships. Upon joining Tereos Starch & Sweeteners, the trainees will undergo a comprehensive in-house training programme which helps them understand the various functions of the cereal division. At the same time, trainees will gain hands-on experience and become accustomed to the company’s culture by working with various departments and on specific projects. Managers will continuously assess and evaluate the trainees to ensure that they have a structured career development plan, similar to other empoyees within Tereos Starch & Sweeteners, according to their potential.
