The 3rd edition of the LSA Diversity and CSR Awards was held on 27 September.
Over 90 submissions were received from some 40 players across the industry and large-scale retail sectors, from Carrefour and Coca-Cola to L’Oréal and Truffaut. One of 19 winners, Tereos took home the “Jury Favourite” award for its Ecostu’air project that operates out of its Lillebonne plant. More than 70% of the plant’s energy needs are being covered through the recycling of household waste emanating from 130 surrounding municipalities.
This award recognizes Tereos’ continuous efforts to combine economic performance with corporate responsibility.
CSR representative Antoine Legrain had this to say: “Tereos has been working for many years to optimize our energy performance. Nearly half of the energy consumed by the Group already comes from renewable sources and this award is a great encouragement for us to continue along this path!”
